Bio

I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. I went to college at the University of Wyoming where I met my wife. We live in a small quiet Wyoming town of 3000. I am the father of two grown sons and recently became a grandfather. I taught Middle, High School, and College English for 31 years. I was an award winning high school Theater Director for 20 years.

I have been writing as much as I can for over 30 years, as much as grading others’ papers has allowed. I have started several books but retirement has afforded me the ability to write full time. Having taught middle and high school students for so long, Young Adult literature seems to be my logical genre. “Some Days I write a song, some days I write a chapter in a novel.” I try to write five days a week, putting to good use the skills I taught in my teaching career. “I see everything I’ve done to this point as preparation for my writing career.”
